SOS Group is proud to announced that they have been appointed the official distributor the FLYN products.
Based on the AIS positioning system, FLYN has developed a Tracking system that follows the yacht from the beginning to the end of the cruise and calculates the time (needed for a charter agreement) and the mileage (needed for a transport agreement) spent in the Fiscal territory (EU) where VAT is applicable and the time and the mileage spent outside the fiscal territory where VAT is not applicable.
The result is a reduction of the amount of VAT due that can reach a consequent amount depending on the route followed by the yacht.
This tracking system is available for charters starting in France and Italy.
In addition to the VAT reduction, the yacht is delivered with a signed certificate indicating the route followed by the yacht (with a map) and the calculation of the VAT.
This certificate, on top of establishing exactly the VAT due, can be presented to the tax authorities in case of an inspection or control (in Italy the time of inspection is 6 years, in France 4 years.)
