Withholding tax June 2016

Are any other taxes levied?
Yes, yacht owner’s that are residents of countries that do not have dual taxation treaty with Spain are subject to a 24% withholding tax on income generated in Spain.
 
What is a withholding tax?
A withholding tax is a tax deducted at source, and levied is Spain on income generated in Spain by person’s resident outside the country.
